For these next-generation ATH-TWX9MK2 earbuds we've developed a new Pure Motion Driver™ to immerse you even more deeply in the sounds you love. Building on more than 60 years of Audio-Technica sound innovation, we designed these new drivers to offer exceptional transient response and high sensitivity across the entire frequency range, enabling them to reproduce every nuance of the high-resolution and lossless music files increasingly offered by streaming services. We've also upgraded the digital hybrid noise-cancelling technology by improving the signal-to-noise ratio of the MEMS microphones in each earbud, resulting in more detailed ambient noise capture. The high-sensitivity drivers then generate precise anti-noise sound waves that effectively cancel even the faintest background sounds. Like the original model, the ATH-TWX9MK2 provides approximately 6 hours of continuous playback and up to 12.5 hours of extended use with the charger (for 18.5 hours total). Crystal clear call quality is guaranteed thanks to the Qualcomm® cVc™ Generation 8.0 technology, and sound and noise-cancellation preferences can easily be adjusted in the A-T Connect app. The earbuds also feature IPX4®-equivalent splashproof protection to guard against rain, water, and sweat.
